Another day with not much to report.
Had chicken/salad for breakfast and brought leftover pork roast & veggies for lunch.
Went shopping later in the evening and picked up a bargain-priced 4-pound container of strawberries. Cleaned and cut them all. Planning to bring 1/2 of them to Dad in the morning.

I'm a female thirtysomething who lives in Boise, Idaho. In early April, I heard about a local Biggest Loser-style weight loss contest and started considering the possibilities.
Inspired by recent books I read, I've decided that I'm worth it. I am going to cook healthy foods and nourish myself. The days of pulling in to Sonic and having them ask me if I'd like "the usual" are over. For good. I'm also going to move more. A lot more. Most importantly, I'm going to pay attention to myself. To what I consume, what I expend, and what I do.
I got to the point where I drifted into the background of my own life, but now I'm in the driver's seat. I signed up for the contest on 4/25/09 and I'm going to win!
