Today started out with a decision: I've got chicken, pork, and beef in the fridge. What should I eat first?
Chose the beef for breakfast, with tomatoes and the usual suspects. Packed the pork loin and asparagus for lunch, and made a chicken/tomato salad for dinner.
Had the usual cut-up apple leaving work, and one of those Lifestyle smoothies when I got home. I'm thinking watermelon for dessert sounds good.
Spent some time at the grocery store today, getting more eggs, milk, oranges, apples, etc. Examined lots of granola options -- bulk, organic, regular -- and left without purchasing any. It just seems like so many calories for a 1/4 cup of it.
The Y is closed on Monday, so I need to e-mail Kimberly my schedule for next week. Better do that now before I forget.
When I first sat down to post this I thought, "I don't have any big news today." But I do. Today is day 31 -- one whole month eating well, working out, paying attention to me. I'm pretty excited about that!
