Tuesday

Day started off with a veggie/egg scramble, thanks to some extra chopping I did last night when I was making a salad. Went out with Dad and came home to a bunch of grilled chicken breasts. Perfect for lunch. Thanks, Chris!

Found some 100-calorie baked potato chips at the Dollar Store. Tried them, liked them well enough, but certainly no substitute for Boulder Chips or the Lay's Kettle Chips. Eh, they weren't really my friends anyway. :P

For exercise today, I did Zumba for the first time. Enjoyed it. It felt a lot like "home" to me because the music reminded me of South Florida. It was very knee-intensive, and I ended up opting-out of most of the jumping motions, but I had fun. It's offered again on Thursday and I think I'll go again. I was considering swimming afterwards, but my commitment for dinner wouldn't have allowed enough time. This was my first time working out in a room with two full walls as mirrors. Didn't spend much time looking at it. But boy, I do need to be doing what I'm doing.

Stopped at the grocery store quickly and located some 100-calorie mini bags of microwave popcorn. Looking forward to those as a potential snack.

Dinner was fun. Dad and I made a tomato-based shellfish soup/stew. It rocked. And now I have some of that leftover for tomorrow too.

Tomorrow is my first official workout with Kimberly at 1:30. The pool is closed at 2:30 when we'll finish, so I might do a little bit of treadmill and then go down and change into my bathing suit because it opens again at 3. (The pool is closed for the arthritic class, and they have the easy stairs installed for that.)

OH -- almost forgot -- had a milestone today. I borrowed my Dad's car to get to Zumba and THE SEATBELT FIT! I always wear my seatbelt in my own car, but the seatbelts in Dad's car haven't fit me for a long time. It was tight, but I did get it to click today. Glad I tried. :)
