In the morning, I had my tomato/chicken salad combination with a bit of a twist. The salad included a small avocado.... then I went to FitDay to log it. Whoops! I knew avocados were more caloric than tomatoes, but Holy Cow! So I won't be doing that again.
Lunch was a deviation from the norm. Did some shopping with Dad in the morning and picked up a very nice loaf of thinly-sliced 7-grain bread. Made a turkey sandwich with some deli meat we picked up. It was nice to have a sandwich for the first time in a month... but it almost wasn't worth it. 110 calories per slice of bread! I'm thinking maybe I'll make some tuna salad one day soon, and eat it open-faced so I don't have to use bread on both sides!
Had an apple before heading over to Zumba. Zumba was fun. The regular instructor that I like was back. Saw Emily there and Mary came, too. We had a good time!
Dinner was leftover chicken/veggie stir fry from last night. It was nice and fast to put in the microwave.
And then sometime between 9:30 and 10:00, I got the serious mega-munchies. Like I was going to die if I didn't eat something. I used Kristine's "wait 20 minutes" approach. Still looking around like a ravenous wolf. So I had some watermelon. Nope. Then an orange. Nope. Then I thawed some cooked shrimp. No. And then I ate a bag of popcorn. None of it helped, so I went to bed.
I ate 1612 calories today. I'm feeling pretty bad about it. But, FitDay said I burned 3500 calories today. (It also said I burned over 5000 calories yesterday, so maybe I had some kind of calorie deficit?) I'm noticing a blemish on my face which means it must be almost "that time of the month". Maybe that's making me munchy?
